PEKING STYLE 
The major public viewing areas, as established during the EURO with us, I have not found so far. Nevertheless, the Olympic Games in the city are everywhere. From simple entry road to the big restaurant eating temples have televisions everywhere, sometimes even large screens with digital projectors. Even on the buses and the subway are all installed screens and occasionally show and live broadcasts. Yesterday I sat in the newly opened subway line 10, while the basketball game between China and Germany ran. At the end
it was quite exciting, the Chinese have won the game then in short supply. In the subway itself but also at the stations, there was spontaneous cheering and applause, the subway ride was really small for a happening. The Chinese celebrate their festivals almost always where they are taking place - even if it is in the subway.
